The Real Financial Literacy Program for Women Veterans/Military Service sponsored by Veterans Upward Bound at the University of Massachusetts Boston June 18-21 2013,is a FREE ten hour program can change a woman’s financial self-sufficiency for the rest of her life.
This 10-hour program– six hours of confidence building and skills necessary to prepare for successful salary negotiation and employment level; one hour of traditional financial literacy in budgeting and money management while unemployed; and three hours of hard skill training in salary determination and negotiation is just what all of us need. Great information!

Massachusetts Jump$tart Coalition is hosting this year’s LifeSmarts Competition at the Boston Federal Reserve Bank!
LifeSmarts, the ultimate consumer challenge, is an educational opportunity for students in 6th-12th grade. This competition prepares students to enter the real world as smart adult consumers. Participants focus on five key topic areas: consumer rights and responsibilities, the environment, health and safety, personal finance, and technology.
